Recent graduates of Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program achieved a 100% pass rate on both the Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) exam and the Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty board, earning the professional credentials required to practice as registered diagnostic medical sonographers.

“Passing the national registries and earning these professional credentials is a tremendous accomplishment and a true reflection of your hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence,” shared Jennifer Eiland, OFTC’s Director of Imaging Sciences.

“Achieving a 100% pass rate speaks not only to your dedication, but to the high standards you’ve upheld throughout the program,” added Jessica Fordham, Clinical Coordinator for OFTC’s DMS program. “We are incredibly proud of each of you and excited to see the impact you will make as you begin your careers in diagnostic medical sonography.”

Graduates typically have a year to complete their specialty boards after successful completion of their program of study. The fact that this recent cohort completed and passed in this short amount of time after graduation demonstrates the DMS program’s commitment to quality education and proves compliance with accreditation standards.
