Leadership Transition at Oconee Fall Line Technical College

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) has appointed Rosemary Selby as Interim President of Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC), effective August 1, 2026, following the retirement of President Erica Harden.

Selby has dedicated nearly 30 years of service to OFTC, including the past 22 years as Vice President of Administrative Services. Throughout her career, she has provided strong leadership in key areas of college operations, serving previously as Accounting Manager and Director of Accounting. Her extensive institutional knowledge, commitment to student success, and dedication to the mission of technical education have helped guide OFTC through periods of significant growth and transformation.

As Interim President, Selby will continue advancing OFTC’s mission of providing accessible, high-quality education and workforce training opportunities that support students, employers, and communities throughout the region.

“Rosemary’s leadership experience, institutional knowledge, and unwavering commitment to Oconee Fall Line Technical College make her the right person to lead the college during this transition,” said TCSG Commissioner Greg Dozier. “Her dedication and strategic leadership will ensure OFTC continues building on its strong foundation and expanding opportunities for students and employers.”

During her tenure at OFTC, Selby has played an integral role in the merger that created Oconee Fall Line Technical College, the college’s continued enrollment growth, and its strong financial position. Her leadership and commitment to responsible stewardship have contributed to OFTC’s ongoing success.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as Interim President of Oconee Fall Line Technical College,” said Selby. “For nearly three decades, this college has been my professional home, and I have been privileged to work alongside an outstanding team dedicated to changing lives through education. I look forward to continuing our mission of preparing students for rewarding careers while meeting the workforce needs of our communities and employers.”

A native of Washington County, Selby holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgia College & State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia.
OFTC is grateful for President Erica Harden’s leadership and service to the college community and looks forward to this next chapter under the guidance of Interim President Rosemary Selby.
