Textbook & Laptop Lending Programs

OFTC provides students the opportunity to borrow textbooks or a laptop for their current term of attendance.
Borrowed items must be returned at the end of the term so other students can benefit in the future. Students may apply for assistance each term, and loans are offered based on financial need.

Students may request more than one book, indicating 1st choice. Books are limited and not all course textbooks are available. Students are responsible for checking on availability and may begin picking up their awarded book at the beginning of the term. Failure to do so may mean forfeiting the book to another student.
OFTC students may apply for a laptop to use off campus for academic purposes. Laptops are limited and will be supplied based on financial need. Students are responsible for the laptop and assume full responsibility for replacement to the college if the laptop is not returned, is damaged, or is stolen while in the student’s possession.
All of these items are due back to the OFTC Library by the last day of the semester.
