OFTC Announces Spring 2026 Commencement Date, Speaker

Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) will honor graduates during its Spring 2026 Commencement and High School Equivalency (HSE) Graduation Ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4.
The ceremony will be held at the college’s South Campus in Dublin at the DuBose Porter Business and Industry Training Center. The Rev. James Middleton will serve as guest speaker.
Middleton serves as pastor of Sandersville Methodist Church in Sandersville. A native of Coffee County, he has dedicated much of his ministry to serving communities across South Georgia. In addition to ministry, he brings leadership experience through corporate roles and small-business ownership.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in ministry from Brewton-Parker College. An ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church, Middleton is known for his commitment to community growth and mentorship.
He lives in Sandersville with his wife, Robin, a dance educator at Brentwood School, and their two sons, Caleb and Jesse.
The commencement ceremony will celebrate the achievements of graduates from across the college’s academic programs, as well as HSE graduates completing an important educational milestone.
Tickets will be required for attendance. Graduates will receive information from the registrar regarding how and when to obtain tickets for guests. All guests must present a ticket for entry.
