One-Hundred-and-Forty-Three Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) credit and High School Equivalency (HSE) graduates were honored during the College’s 2026 Spring Commencement Ceremony & HSE Graduation held on the Dublin Campus, Thursday, June 5.

Graduates received degrees, diplomas and technical certificates of credit in a variety of high-demand fields like Early Childhood Care and Education, Commercial Truck Diving (CTD), Nursing, Machine Tool, and more. Some graduates received high school equivalency diplomas.

“We cannot tell you enough how excited we are to watch you walk across the stage to receive your credential tonight,” shared OFTC President Erica Harden as she addressed the graduates. “You will always be a part of our family, so remember we are always here to help you.”

“We are so very proud of you,” she added. “I hope you never lose your will to learn. Keep reaching for your goals and keep moving forward.”

The Rev. James Middleton of Sandersville Methodist Church served as keynote speaker and addressed the graduates, celebrating their accomplishments and achievements.

Middleton congratulated the graduates, encouraging them for the days ahead and cited three things they should remember that may help them obtain advancement opportunities – relationships, hard work, and skill.

“Some of the relationships you have formed here, and other places may lead to job opportunities,” he said. “Make the most of these relationships to better yourself and your career.”

Middleton recognized the hard work and skills of each graduate but reminded them that hard work and skills are not enough to get into the room and stay in the room.

“None of these things are enough on their own,” he said. “Showing up and doing your best time and time again – that is what will bring you success.”

“There’s only one thing that will keep you in the room,” he added, “and that’s integrity.”

Graduates were then honored by walking across the stage to receive their diplomas.
