Supporting Success, One Student at a Time

OFTC’s Peer Mentor Program is designed to enrich the student experience by offering both academic and social support. Peer Mentors serve as trusted guides, helping new students transition into college life and confidently navigate their programs of study. Through regular communication, mentors connect students to helpful resources, offer encouragement, and help foster a sense of belonging from day one.

Three students stand at a whiteboard. One writes with a marker while the others watch and discuss, all appearing focused and engaged in a collaborative activity.

Being a Peer Mentor isn’t just about helping others—it’s an opportunity to grow yourself. Build leadership skills, boost your confidence, and deepen your own understanding of academic and campus resources. It’s a rewarding way to give back while moving forward.
