OFTC — Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) is offering an early holiday gift to prospective students by waiving the admissions application fee through Dec. 28 for anyone applying for the spring 2026 semester.
Students can apply at no cost, making it an ideal time to begin training for a high-demand career.
“We want to remove as many barriers as possible for those ready to take the next step in their education,” said Dr. Saketha Adams, OFTC’s vice president for student affairs. “Waiving the application fee allows more students to explore their interests and begin a career pathway that can change their lives.”
Spring semester classes begin Jan. 12, 2026, and OFTC offers more than 130 programs in advanced manufacturing and automation; building technology; business services; health sciences; cybersecurity and computer science; public safety and personal service; and transportation and logistics. Many programs qualify for the HOPE Career Grant, which can significantly reduce — or fully cover — tuition for eligible students.
Applying is simple. No code is required. Prospective students can visit OFTC.edu and choose “Apply Now” to complete their free application before the deadline.
The last day to apply for free is Dec. 28.
