OFTC Foundation, Inc. Announces Spring 2026 Scholarship Recipients

The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation, Inc. has awarded scholarships to several students for the 2026 spring semester. These scholarships, made possible through the generosity of donors and community partners, provide financial support that helps students pursue their education and reach their career goals.
Randy Helton Family Scholarship
Rashanda Thomas, a Radiologic Technology student from Dublin, was selected as the recipient of the Randy Helton Family Scholarship for spring semester 2026. This scholarship is made possible by donations from OFTC Foundation Trustee Randy Helton and his family.
Sterrett ADN Scholarship
Heather Bryan, an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) student from Cochran, was selected as a recipient of the Jack Sterrett ADN Scholarship for spring semester 2026. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from Dr. & Mrs. Jack Sterrett.
National Board of Respiratory Care Scholarships
Four Respiratory Care students were selected as recipients of a National Board of Respiratory Care scholarship for spring, summer and fall semesters 2026: Michaela Holmes, Emily Currie, Brandon Xicotencatl and Cierra Carroll. These scholarships are made possible by generous donations from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Tommy Barlow Scholarship
Angela Meadows, an Automotive Technology student from Cochran, was selected as the recipient of the Tommy Barlow Scholarship for spring semester 2026. The Tommy Barlow Scholarship is made possible by the Barlow family in memory of their loved one.

The OFTC Foundation
The OFTC Foundation, Inc. is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations established to support students and programs at the college. The Foundation is governed by a local board of trustees whose mission is to maintain a focus on local campus needs that mirrors the direction of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Donors’ wishes will be adhered to and existing donor agreements will continue to be enforced. The Foundation provides leadership and community influence through the College’s eleven-county service area of Bleckley, Dodge, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Laurens, Telfair, Warren, Washington, Wheeler, and Wilkinson.
