OFTC — The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation, Inc. has awarded scholarships to several students for the 2025 fall semester. These scholarships, made possible through the generosity of donors and community partners, provide financial support that helps students pursue their education and reach their career goals.
Randy Helton Family Scholarship
Ms. Keiria Vargas (Milledgeville), an OFTC Diagnostic Medical Sonography student on the Dublin Campus, was selected as the recipient of the Randy Helton Family Scholarship for the 2025 fall semester. This scholarship is made possible through the generous donations of the Randy Helton Family.

Howard Sheppard CTD Scholarship
Ms. Chasity Hall (Tennille), An OFTC Commercial Truck Driving student at the Jefferson County Center, was selected as a recipient of the Howard Sheppard Inc. Commercial Truck Driving Scholarship for the 2025 fall semester. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from Howard Sheppard Inc.

OFTC Foundation General Scholarship
Three OFTC Allied Health students were recently named recipients of the OFTC Foundation General Scholarship for the 2025 fall semester. Evelyn Gonzalez, radiologic technology student from Rockledge; Ariyonna Jones, diagnostic medical sonography student from Dublin; and Kara Garnto, respiratory care student from Dublin. These scholarships are made possible by the OFTC Foundation.

Schrader Vision of Hope Imaging & Nursing Scholarship
Ms. Logan Acree (Dublin), an OFTC Radiologic Technology student on the Dublin Campus, was recently selected as the recipient of the Schrader Vision of Hope Scholarship for the 2025 fall semester. The scholarship is made possible through generous donations by the Schrader/Rizzardi family and was presented by members of the Schrader family.

Student Success Scholarship (S3)
Ashley Bailey (Hawkinsville), an OFTC Radiologic Technology student, is the recipient of the OFTC Foundation Student Success Scholarship (S3) for the 2025 fall semester. This scholarship is made possible and funded by OFTC Foundation.

Hancock Strong General Scholarship
Javion Lawrence (Hancock), an online OFTC Criminal Justice Technology student was selected to receive the Hancock Strong General Scholarship for the 2025 fall semester. The Hancock Strong General Scholarship is made possible through the generous donation of a former resident of Hancock County whose wish is to see students succeed in their educational goals and return to the community to make it stronger.

Hancock Strong Health Care Scholarship
Kiara Starks (Hancock), an OFTC Diagnostic Medical Sonography student has been selected to receive the Hancock Strong Health Care Scholarship for the 2025 fall semester. Starks attends the Dublin campus where she is active in student clubs like SKILLS USA and SGA. The Hancock Strong Health Care Scholarship is made possible through the generous donation of a former resident of Hancock County whose wish is to see students succeed in their educational goals and return to the community to make it stronger.

The OFTC Foundation
The OFTC Foundation, Inc. is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations established to support students and programs at the college. The Foundation is governed by a local board of trustees whose mission is to maintain a focus on local campus needs that mirrors the direction of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Donors’ wishes will be adhered to and existing donor agreements will continue to be enforced. The Foundation provides leadership and community influence through the College’s eleven-county service area of Bleckley, Dodge, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Laurens, Telfair, Warren, Washington, Wheeler, and Wilkinson.
