Michaela Lann Awarded OFTC Foundation’s Brandon T. Lawrence Scholarship

Michaela Lann of Glenwood, Ga., has been selected as the recipient of the Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation’s Brandon T. Lawrence Scholarship for 2026. She is currently enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program on the college’s Dublin campus.

The scholarship honors the memory of Brandon Timothy Lawrence, who died in a car accident on Feb. 6, 2004, at the age of 15. A student in the Wheeler County School System, Lawrence was remembered for his love of life, academic achievement and compassion for others. His family established the scholarship to honor his legacy by assisting a Wheeler County graduate who demonstrates a strong desire to complete a technical education while achieving academic excellence, exhibiting outstanding character and showing determination to succeed.

The scholarship was presented by Brandon’s mother, Staci Benson.
