Darrell Hill Jr. Set to Deliver OFTC’s Fall 2025 Commencement Address

OFTC – Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) will host its Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, September 25, at 7 p.m. on the Sandersville Campus in the Ben J. Tarbutton Jr. Business Development Center.
The College is proud to announce Darrell Hill Jr., Director of the Adult Education program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, as the featured guest speaker.
A strong advocate for lifelong learning, Hill holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in biology from Valdosta State University. Before stepping into his leadership role, he taught in Wiregrass’s Adult Education program, where he was recognized as the 2023 Adult Education Teacher of the Year for his dedication to student success and motivational teaching style.
In his current role as Director, Hill continues to champion adult learners by guiding instructors, supporting student transitions to college or the military, and connecting individuals with better job opportunities. His passion for education and helping others achieve their goals remains at the heart of his work.
