Cecila Swanson, OFTC Adult Education Coordinator, Obtains Doctorate Degree

OFTC – Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) Adult Education Coordinator, Cecila Swanson, recently obtained her Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership.

Swanson attended Liberty University in Lynchburg Va.

“I believe that I have a calling to be in service to others,” Swanson shared. “Leading is not meant to be a solo act. It takes teamwork and everyone achieving full buy-in of the vision set for the organization.”

Dean of OFTC’s Adult Education department, Demme McManus says Swanson is a lifelong learner, always striving to learn something new every day.

“Cecila is dedicated to our program and our students, and I know she will continue to excel in all she does,” she said.
