Lottie Grier Named Recipient of the OFTC Foundation’s Fall 2022 Hancock Strong Health Care Scholarship

Lottie Grier of Hancock County was recently named the recipient of the Hancock Strong Health Care Scholarship for the fall 2022 semester by the Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation.

Grier is enrolled in OFTC’s practical nursing program and will complete the required courses to become a Licensed Practical Nurse in August of next year. After working in-field for one year, she hopes to return to OFTC to enroll in the Associate Degree in Nursing Bridge program to become a Registered Nurse.

“The OFTC Foundation would like to congratulate Lottie on her award and wishes her the very best as she pursues her dream to become a nurse,” shared Kathy Aaron, Executive Director of the OFTC Foundation. “We are truly thankful for opportunities to support students like Lottie.”
