Washington County Regional Medical Center CEO, Pam Stewart, Slated to Deliver OFTC’s Fall 2024 Commencement Address 

OFTC –Pam Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of the Washington County Regional Medical Center (WCRMC) in Sandersville is slated to serve as guest speaker for Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) 2024 Fall Commencement & High School Equivalency Graduation Ceremony held on the College’s North Campus in Sandersville, Thursday, November 14 at 7PM.

The ceremony was originally scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3 but was rescheduled due to Hurricane Helene.

Stewart graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brenau Women’s College in 1990 and later obtained her master’s degree in business administration from Auburn University in 2006. Pam began her nursing career in Augusta before returning home to Sandersville as a Registered Nurse in 1992.  

During her initial twenty-year tenure at WCRMC, Pam held numerous positions within the hospital, including Director of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer. In 2012, she left WCRMC to pursue an opportunity with The Joint Commission, an accrediting organization for Hospitals, but later returned in 2023 to serve as the interim Chief Nursing Officer and was later named the new CEO.  

Pam and her husband, Trey, have resided in Sandersville since 1993, where they raised their daughters, Anna Katherine and Sarah.
