OFTC to Host One Stop Enrollment Day, Thursday, Feb. 20th

OFTC – There’s still time for students to get started with classes at Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) this spring. The 2025 Spring Minimester begins March 11.
OFTC invites those interested in starting classes to attend a One-Stop Enrollment Day where they can meet one-on-one with college representatives who can help guide them through the enrollment process, Thursday, February 20th.
The events will take place from 8 AM – 7 PM at all OFTC campus locations.
The purpose of the One Stop Enrollment Day is to assist students in expediting their enrollment for the upcoming minimester and to inform them of financial aid opportunities available to help them pay for classes.
A minimester is a shorter semester, averaging 8-weeks, and allows students to complete courses with the same quality of instruction but on a shorter schedule. Students can choose from a variety of courses, including online formats, to stay on course.
“We’re offering the One Stop Enrollment events to better serve our students and community,” shared Dr. Saketha Adams, OFTC’s Vice President of Student Affairs. “We want to give those who are working and with families at home an opportunity to take care of the enrollment process during times that may be more convenient for their schedules, which is why we will stay open late.”
Whether a student needs to get started or complete the enrollment process, staff representing multiple college departments will be available to work with students to help them enroll for the upcoming semester. Students should plan to come in person and bring essential documents including a high school transcript, a government-issued photo ID such as a valid driver’s license or military ID, and a 2022 tax return.
