OFTC Students Awarded Tools to Help Jumpstart Careers During OFTC Foundation’s 26th Annual TOOLS Program
OFTC – Seventeen Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) students were awarded the program specific tools they’ll need to jump-start their careers during the 26thth annual TOOLS for Outstanding Occupational Leadership Students (TOOLS) Program held on the college’s Dublin campus, Wednesday, April 23.
The 2025 TOOLS Program was sponsored by The Louie and Evelyn Livingston Family Foundation and corporate-level donors were Fairview Park Hospital, Morris Bank, Smurfit-WestRock, and the OFTC Foundation, Inc.
“This event is always a special one for us,” said Kathy Aaron, OFTC’s Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and the Foundation. “Seeing the excitement and gratitude of these students as they receive the tools they need for their careers is a powerful reminder of our mission at OFTC—to equip students for success.”
Recipients were awarded program-specific tools required for their careers so that upon graduation they can seamlessly transition into the workforce without the burden of purchasing necessary on-the-job equipment or tools. Students received items like stethoscopes, toolboxes, welding helmets, scrubs, lab coats and other essential items related to their program of study and future profession.

The OFTC Foundation
The OFTC Foundation, Inc. is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established to support students and programs at the college. The Foundation is governed by a local board of trustees whose mission is to maintain a focus on local campus needs that mirrors the direction of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Donors’ wishes will be adhered to, and existing donor agreements will continue to be enforced.
