OFTC Opens State-Of-The Art Renovated Cosmetology Salon in Sandersville
Sandersville, Ga., (OFTC) — Students enrolled in Cosmetology at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) Sandersville Campus now have a newly renovated, state-of-the-art salon to enhance their learning experience.
The upgraded facility features modern equipment and a professional salon environment, allowing students to gain hands-on training that prepares them for real-world careers. Designed to support the program’s curriculum, the salon includes workstations and amenities that mirror industry standards.
This investment reflects OFTC’s commitment to providing high-quality, career-ready education for students in Washington and surrounding counties.
“By creating a professional-grade salon, we’re giving our students the tools and experience they need to build successful careers in the cosmetology industry while also serving our community,” shared Tammy Bayto, Dean of OFTC’s Cosmetology program.
The full-service salon is open to the public and offers services to men and women ages 13 years and older. All services are performed by senior students under instructor supervision.
