OFTC Foundation, Inc. Announces 2024 Fall Scholarship Recipients
OFTC – The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation recently announced its 2024 Fall scholarship recipients.
Randy Helton Family Scholarship
Ms. Katlynn Gordon was selected as the recipient of the Randy Helton Family Scholarship for the 2024 fall semester. Gordan is an imaging science student from Dublin who attends the Dublin Campus. This scholarship is made possible through the generous donations of the Randy Helton Family.
Howard Sheppard CTD Scholarship
Mr. Rashaun Mathis was selected as a recipient of the Howard Sheppard Inc. Commercial Truck Driving (CTD) Scholarship for the 2024 fall semester. Mathis is a student enrolled in CTD on the Dublin campus and is from Eastman. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from Howard Sheppard Inc.
OFTC Foundation General Scholarship
Three Dublin Campus students were awarded the OFTC Foundation General Scholarship for the 2024 fall semester. Zachary Floyd (Danville), Radiologic Technology; Tempestt Lundy (Macon), Practical Nursing; and Deandre Williams (Eastman), Interdisciplinary Studies.
Schrader Vision of Hope Imaging & Nursing Scholarship
Ms. Keomaria Camon was selected as the recipient of the Schrader Vision of Hope Scholarship for the 2024 fall semester. Camon is from Atlanta and is enrolled in the practical nursing program on the Sandersville Campus. The scholarship is made possible through generous donations by the Schrader/Rizzardi family.
Student Success Scholarship (S3)
Three students were awarded the OFTC Foundation Student Success Scholarship for the 2024 fall semester. Ariyonna Jones (np) is a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program student and attends the Dublin Campus; Shanbreka Jordan is a Medical Assisting Program student from Sandersville and attends the Sandersville Campus; Avionna Livatt is an Early Childhood Care and Education Program student from Sandersville and attends the Sandersville Campus.
OFTC Foundation Allied Health Scholarship
Jordan Hay, a Diagnostic Medical Sonography student from Cadwell, was selected to receive the OFTC Foundation Allied Health Scholarship. Jordan attends the Dublin Campus.
Merchants & Citizens Bank Scholarship
Three students were awarded the Merchants & Citizens Bank Scholarship for the 2024 fall semester. Accounting Program student, Alexa Blackburn (Glenwood), attends the Dublin Campus; Respiratory Care Program student, Landon Carey (McRae) attends the Dublin Campus; Welding and Joining Technology Program student, Maurice Zanders, attends the Dublin Campus.

The OFTC Foundation, Inc. is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations established to support students and programs at the college. The Foundation is governed by a local board of trustees whose mission is to maintain a focus on local campus needs that mirrors the direction of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Donors’ wishes will be adhered to and existing donor agreements will continue to be enforced. The Foundation provides leadership and community influence through the College’s eleven-county service area of Bleckley, Dodge, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Laurens, Telfair, Warren, Washington, Wheeler, and Wilkinson.
