OFTC Foundation Hosts 11th Annual Golf Tournament

OFTC – The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation celebrated its 11th annual Golf Tournament, hosted at the Twin City Country Club in Tennille, June 7.

This event brings together passionate golfers and generous sponsors all with a shared mission to support students and college initiatives at OFTC.

This year’s tournament welcomed 20 teams, each made up of four enthusiastic players for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. Forty sponsors contributed to the event, helping raise funds that directly support student scholarships, emergency aid, program enhancements, and other college priorities supported through the OFTC Foundation.

This year’s first-place team walked away with a round of golf for four at one of the prestigious courses at Reynolds Lake Oconee, a top-tier golf destination known for its scenic beauty and championship-level play.

“We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, players, and volunteers who made this event a success once again,” said Kathy Aaron, Executive Director at OFTC Foundation. “Every dollar raised helps provide opportunities and remove barriers for our students.”

Over the years, the Foundation’s golf tournament has become a beloved tradition, combining sport with purpose. This year’s turnout and support reflect the community’s strong commitment to education and the future of OFTC students.
