OFTC Announces 2025 GOAL Nominees  

OFTC's 2025 GOAL Nominees

OFTC – The Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) program focuses on student excellence in technical education by focusing on academic excellence and personal achievement and is sponsored through the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).    

These eight Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) students were nominated for GOAL by an OFTC instructor based on academic achievement and personal leadership and will compete in a series of interviews and a speech presentation to be named OFTC’s 2025 GOAL Winner & Student of the Year. 

  • Aaliyah Bright, Radiologic Technology, Johnson County  
  • Jaclyn Davis, Welding & Joining Technology, Washington County 
  • Natalie Durden, Radiologic Technology, Washington County 
  • Richard Ehret, Diesel Equipment Technology, Jefferson County 
  • Ashley Jesup, Associate of Science in Nursing, Johnson County 
  • Kiyara Lanier, Business Management, Laurens County  
  • Daniella Mendoza, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Laurens County 
  • Whitney Roady, Respiratory Care Program, Laurens County 

The 2025 GOAL winner will be announced during the 2024 OFTC Awards Luncheon on December 11, 2024, and will move on to compete in regional judging against winners from other TCSG colleges in February. They’ll represent OFTC at the state-level in Atlanta in April when one student will be named the statewide 2025 Goal winner by the TCSG.
