Latest OFTC Grads Honored with 2025 Spring Commencement & High School Equivalency Ceremony
OFTC – One-Hundred and seventy three Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) credit and High School Equivalency (HSE) graduates were honored during the College’s 2025 Spring Commencement Ceremony & HSE Graduation held on the Dublin Campus, Thursday, June 5.
This was the largest graduating class in the college’s 14-year history, breaking the previous year’s record.
Graduates received degrees, diplomas and technical certificates of credit in a variety of high-demand fields like Early Childhood Care and Education, Phlebotomy, Automation Technology, Commercial Truck Diving (CTD) and more. Some graduates received high school equivalency diplomas.
“We cannot tell you enough how excited we are to watch you walk across the stage to receive your credential tonight,” shared OFTC President Erica Harden as she addressed the graduates. “You will always be a part of our family, so remember we are always here to help you.”
“We are so very proud of you,” she added. “I hope you never lose your will to learn. Keep reaching for your goals and keep moving forward.”
Shoroko Farley, the 2024 Rick Perkins Award winner for the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and a graduate of OFTC’s CTD program served as keynote speaker and addressed the graduates, celebrating their accomplishments and achievements.
“There’s two very important days in your life,” Farley shared, “the day you were born and the day you find out why. Our gift will make room for us,” he said. “It will open up doors and put us in places we never thought we would be.”
“I am proud to stand here and watch you come across the stage and receive your award,” he added. “But it doesn’t stop here. It’s just the beginning. The highway to success doesn’t stop.”
“I want to encourage you all today,” Farley said. “Don’t stop here. Keep going.”
