Hurricane Debby Weather Update, 8/5/2024

Due to impending weather conditions related to Hurricane Debby, all campuses of OFTC will close today at 4:00 pm, be closed Tuesday, and reopen Wednesday morning.  We expect heavy rain and squally conditions later today, overnight tonight, and tomorrow.  All southern counties in our SDA are under a Tropical Storm Warning or Watch, and the entire SDA is under a Flood Watch.

Please take proper precautions; flash flooding is possible.  Be prepared to move to higher ground is you live in a low-lying area. Secure items outside that may be blown around in the wind.  Monitor the weather regarding Hurricane Debby and have your alert device handy!
