Arlene Bache Named OFTC’s Newest BOD Member

Sandersville, Ga., (OFTC) — The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Board of Directors (BOD) inducted Miss Arlene Bache of Wilkinson County as its newest member during a recent meeting held on the Sandersville Campus, Thursday, December 19. 

Bache was sworn in by Russell Sheppard, Washington County Probate Judge.  

Although governed by the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), OFTC’s local board of directors plays an important role in accomplishing the mission of the College while working in concert with the State Board.  

The purpose of the local board is to facilitate the delivery of programs, services, and activities as directed by the State Board of the TCSG. They also advise the President and State Board of local industry and community needs for the programs and services provided by the technical college, and advocate within the community and the state on issues of importance in support of workforce development efforts. 

Bache has served as Library Director for the East Wilkinson County Library Branch for over 30 years. She is a graduate of Wilkinson County High School and Georgia College and State University.
